In 2001, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis; I trusted the Dr. and followed the regiment he recommended.  I did no research other than reading the material the Dr. gave me and took the medication he prescribed.  The side effects from the medicine were worse than the disease.  I was always tired, so tired that I had to have a nap after work and couldn’t get out and have fun with my daughter.  She often complained that I wasn’t like other Moms who did things with their kids and wasn’t fun like I used to be. I just didn’t have any energy and literally couldn’t function without a lot of sleep. I was also in a lot of pain from the disease and the medication. The medication was administered by giving myself shots.  I had site reactions which caused welts that were very painful, in addition to the constant pain I had in my right shoulder.  After following the advice of the Dr. for about 1.5 years, I started researching to find natural remedies as I had had enough of feeling so terrible that life was no longer fun.  I wanted to spend quality time with my family which was something I’d lost.  So this is really where my journey began. I have read many books, tried lots many different methods, some of which worked and some didn’t.  What I learned was my lifestyle had everything to do with my physical and mental health.  As I’ve taken steps to change my lifestyle, got in tune with my body and started paying attention to what I put in my body and found what it likes and doesn’t like, my health started to improve.  I am now on a mission to change the world one body, mind and spirit at a time and would love to talk with you to determine if working with a health coach is right for you.
